1. Nano and hydrogel delivery systems construction
A synthetic and modification technology based on degradable polyester, polypeptide synthetic polymer and natural polymer was established with defined chemical composition and controllable structure. Utilization of self-assembly, physical and chemical cross-linking techniques to construct nanoparticle and hydrogel carriers, adjusting polymer chemical structure, concentration and external environmental stimuli to successfully achieve the environmentally sensitive nano and hydrogel carrier controllable assembly and batch-to-batch preparation.

2. Applied research on nano and hydrogel delivery systems
Preparation of new dosage formulation of tumor chemotherapy drugs by nano- and hydrogel delivery systems, improving drug chemotherapy effects, reducing toxic and side effects; using cationic nanocarriers for nucleic acid delivery, improving transfection and gene silencing efficiency for gene therapy; Vaccine adjuvants and vaccine delivery vehicles increase vaccine stability, cellular immune response and antibody titer levels.

3 Designing super-hydrophilic 19F MRI probe 

The “perfect” tracer should be characterized by (i) high fluorine content, (ii) facile, and possibly scalable, synthesis and formulation, (iii) definite chemical properties, (iv) chemical and biological stability, possibly with a long shelf life, (v) low in vitro and in vivo toxicity, (vi) simple 19FNMRspectrum, possibly with a single, sharp, and intense peak, and (vii) short T1 and long T2.
